When we aren’t finding our way out of a Portland Escape room, we’re thinking about the best places to eat. Fortunately, with a well-developed foodie network in the Valley, we seldom run out of tasty options to explore. Jump in your Mazda SUV, and check out one of these fantastic restaurant options.

Oswego Grill

With one of the best Happy Hours in the area, the Oswego Grill is a favorite for locals and visitors too. Choose down-home dishes like burgers and mac-and-cheese or get something more metropolitan like the Ahi Tuna Poke or Filet Mignon, no matter what you choose, your taste buds will thank you for it.

  • Location: 30080 SW Boones Ferry Rd, Wilsonville, OR
  • Hours: Sunday – Thursday, 11:00 AM – 10:00 PM; Friday – Saturday, 11:00 AM – 11:00 PM

McMenamin’s Old Church and Pub

All McMenamin’s properties offer a unique taste of local culture, and the Old Church is no exception. Not only can visitors enjoy a family-friendly dining experience in the renovated pub, but you can also catch live music in the outdoor amphitheater in the summer as well. They specialize in Northwest foods and frequently serve fresh meats and produce from Sheridan, Albany, Tillamook, and other local centers.

  • Location: 30340 SW Boones Ferry Rd, Wilsonville, OR
  • Hours: Sunday – Thursday, 11:00 AM – 11:00 PM; Friday – Saturday, 11:00 AM – 12:00 AM

Dar Essalam

If your appetite calls for something more exotic, then we wholeheartedly recommend Dar Essalam unique blend of African, Moroccan, and Mediterranean dishes. Choose from light dishes like the Moroccan dinner salad with saffron chicken kabobs, or treat yourself to a hearty lamb shank in a golden raisin and sweet onion sauce. There are no bad options here.

  • Hours: Monday – Thursday, 11:00 AM – 8:00 PM; Friday – Saturday, 5:00 PM – 9:00 PM

Wild Pear

If you’re craving something fresh and healthy, it’s definitely worth making the journey to Wild Pear in Keizer. They put their own unique twist on traditional favorites like Pho and fresh Greek wraps, but if you’re in the mood for something warm, regulars recommend the butternut squash soup to get you started.
